Fishing at Hammerlands Activity Centre is seriously good fun - there’s three pools to chose from which cater for the novice to the professional.

At Hammerlands, you set your own pace - whether you want to take part in the various activities or leisurely shop and browse. When you need a break, unwind in our indoor restaurant or outdoor patio area. We have a variety of locally sourced homemade cuisine freshly prepared to suit your needs.
Things to do with the Kids.
The kids will have a fun filled day out. Small Animal farm - pet the goats, pigs, donkeys and sheep or feed the fish at one of the fishing lochs. Animal & fish food is available for 50p. Please be sure to wash your hands after feeding or petting the livestock and definitely before eating.
There is also a free Children’s Activity Playground. The safe, family friendly enclosed playground has a sand pit, huge climbing frame, 10 foot climbing wall, roundabout, pedal toys and trampoline. Something for 2 year olds as well as teenagers. Younger children should be supervised by parents.
Fishing You can learn how to fish on our bait loch, contact us to book a lesson. We can accommodate family sessions with lessons for up to 4. For more on fishing take a look at the fishing section.
Crazy Golf, challenge your putting skills on the ‘windmill’, ‘skittles’ or the ‘boat’. Cost: £2.50 a round including putter.
Shopping, visit our gift shop or browse round the Garden Centre, there’s sure to be something to tempt you.
Family Food
Hammerlands is a great place to eat with the kids we offer a Childrens Menu, Hammerlands lunch box, small portions of the specials and lots of other great homemade food. Wander round the site, bring a picnic and enjoy one of the many events taking place at Hammerlands.
Family Facilities
Hammerlands Moffat is a VisitScotland 3 star quality assured Visitor Attraction. It has good facilities including toilets and baby changing, wheelchair friendly and ample parking. We are only a mile or so from Junction 15 of the M74.
